Currently the Australia Crew Allocation and Training Planner for Australia oil and gas pilots and accountable for the operational execution of crew training planning and scheduling. Duties and responsibilities include managing and coordinating manpower requirements across entire fleet, and also providing support and advising Flight Operations on manpower requirements. Manage and approve all pilot vacation, holiday, short-term disability, personal, and any other paid or unpaid leave. Also, closely monitor all pilot training, both simulator and in-aircraft training, and also any ground training items required. Proactively understanding contractual requirements relating to crew qualifications and required crewing levels and ensure that the crewmembers assigned to contracts are qualified and meet contractual requirements. Also, produce a high quality roster while communicating directly to all pilots regarding their individual assignments.

 

May 2013 – June 2014   CHC Helicopter                                                                    Irving, TX

Short Term Crew Planner responsible for all offshore oil and gas Australia pilots. Duties and responsibilities include ensuring crew and training scheduling information in the system is current and accurate at all times. Proactively understanding contractual requirements relating to crew qualifications and required crewing levels and ensure that the crewmembers assigned to contracts are qualified and meet contractual requirements. Identify and quickly rectify scheduling conflicts. Identify crew shortages or training slot conflicts and resolve rapidly with practical solutions. Communicate scheduling assignments to crewmembers and ensure that any questions or concerns are handled in a timely manner and monitor and adjust schedules as required to ensure maximum crew optimization.

 

October 2011 – April 2013:            Fair Wind Air Charter                                 Stuart, FL

Dispatcher and Charter Sales Representative. Major responsibilities included maintaining operational control of all domestic and international flight activities associated with planning, scheduling, and ground handling of aircraft movements in compliance with company and applicable government regulations. Duties included crew scheduling, coordinating all aircraft, crew, and passenger accommodations, ensuring aircraft performance capabilities and crew duty limitations are not exceeded and flight following of all trips, and other safety of flight operations. Duties also include quoting, selling, and booking of charter trips.

Flight Dispatcher responsible for flight planning, fuel calculations, aircraft performance, interpreting weather forecasts, and numerous other safety of flight operations.
